Manufacturing the future: Call for investigator-led research projects

EPSRC

The EPSRC Manufacturing the Future challenge theme invites investigator-led proposals which address key research challenges facing manufacturing in the UK today and in the future. There is officially no closing date and proposals can be submitted at any time, batching dates have been identified at roughly six-month intervals. The next batching dates are 27 February 2015 and 31 August 2015. The Manufacturing the Future theme has prioritised funding to support investigator-led research projects in manufacturing, with an annual budget in the order of £5 million.  Read more

Game-changing technologies for aerospace

Innovative UK (TSB)

Innovate UK is to invest up to £10 million in collaborative research and development and feasibility studies to accelerate the commercialisation of highly innovative technologies for civil aerospace.

We expect collaborative R&D projects to range in size from total costs of £250,000 to £1.5 million. Feasibility studies are expected to have total project costs of up to £100,000.

Innovation Vouchers are an Innovate_UK funding competition designed to enable start-up, micro, or SME companies work with external experts to help their business innovate, develop, and grow. Successful applicants receive awards of up to £5000 to be used within a six month timeframe. Read more

 

Growth Vouchers: England-based SMEs and Microbusinesses with less than 50 employees are eligible to apply for up to £2,000 funding for advice on business issues. Read more
